I'm checking out and taking my humble mturk coins with me. Off to enjoy the rest of the evening with the help of a White Russian. Not at all concerned with reaction times...

    Pros:
Decent pay if you do the full survey.
    Cons:
Writing (2 x 400 characters), but you are told there'll be writing going in.
I took some time crafting my responses, so took the full ten minutes.

@turker I'm so happy to see you here. I know we're not close or anything, but it's troubling when people disappear. I hope all is well with you.

    Pros:
Fairly easy, sensible HIT with intelligent questions- no real problems considering that it's Inquisit.
    Cons:
I estimated my time because the study doesn't open in a new window, so you have to reopen the Hit to submit your survey code.

The bears are ganna be a hard thing to keep out but there are anti-bear latches but I don't have a ton of experience with them. A barrel bolt should work.

You can replace those carabiners with masterlocks.

Ooh! Didn't think about a carabiner w/a hasp. A bolt latch, I'd imagine a raccoon could figure out pretty quick by accident just playing with it out of curiosity because it's shiny in the moonlight when it smells chicken.

If I were to get a mix of different breeds as itty bitty chicks, would there be any pecking issues? I want at least 1 Jersey Giant just because, and 2 Silkies because 10mo-5yr old nieces and a nephew, and when we had them growing up the Silkies were like feathery puppies. I don't want prolific layers getting pissy with the chillax ones.

My dad only wants a small run at first (and he's the one who owns the place) 18x28 but I cleared an 18x35 area anyway and cut the fencing so it can be swung out and only need 6ft more fencing to use the existing fence and end up with a run 5x bigger. And, can move the 18ft section back from one wall of the coop to the other and add 18x12 more space.
