Nah, don't. It was biopsied the first time and wasn't malignant. The first time they found a bunch of iron, so it was probably from me being a stupid 20 year old noob welder in a craphole weld shop and not wearing safety glasses, and I got sparks in my eyes that migrated down into the tissues. Then I went all Deadpool and started healing around them. The first surgery got written off by the surgeon because he got to write a paper on it.

Then, when I got the damn thing removed the first time they didn't cauterize everything (i could FEEL the scrape where they nicked too deep by rubbing on my forehead nerve in just the right spot between my eyebrows) and I didn't adhere to the weight limit because I had a 4 month old who still needed her diapers changed (and I was a SAHD welder/pipefitter and by God I was gonna be Productive!), I probably popped a stitch or ten, and started healing around that.

I'm just at the point where if the financial help paperwork doesn't hurry up (been dicking about since March), I'm gonna either go private payer and pay each step of the way and do a cash-down thing and just end up $30k in debt, or get some Glenlivet and down half the bottle and bite on a stick while they go Baskin-Robbins with a red-hot ice-cream scoop.

But really, I can still see flashes of occasional light, so if the surgeons decide to take the whole eye, I'll ask the surgeons to keep a bit of the optic nerve because it and the retina is still functioning, so if a prosthesis becomes available, I can be a guinea pig.

Meanwhile, I'll be able to win $1000 Halloween costume contests with some badass cospiay because I friend of mine is a member of IBOT/501st.

Returning the CocoBot. I just don't feel like it. 75 minutes for $10 and I'm $20 above daily goal. Got zero mowing done because Pushbullet went off every time I stepped outside for underpaying BS

(One of these days I'll stop posting "Oopsie Exports") This one was a mis-click scrolling through the list, rather than me playing with buttons and realizing I just sent something off.

Have you tried contacting any charity group that might be willing to foot the bill? My cousin used Shriners when she was young to have a large hemangioma removed that had grown from her jaw right up to her eye.

Yeah, the paperwork is in the mail..........since March. Shriners is a good group, but for kids. My brother's whole shebang was covered when he ran his food over with a lawnmower. Shriners paid for the physical therapy that Medicaid wouldn't. Medicaid was all "All healed? GTFO!" while my brother needed PT to keep from having the scar tissue make his foot into a club.

I'm 37, white,(non-Hispanic) male, with no tax dependents. I'm hosed.

Poor babeh :emoji_head_bandage: did she heal up okay? Shriners are friggin awesome. If I ever win the lotto above $50m, they and St. Judes are gonna have a trust fund in perpetuity that invests in a low-risk fund and everything more than inflation gets donated.
