Not what I expected. Would make a pretty messy sandwich.

Honestly though - I worked for years in a relatively well-known deli in Metro Detroit right out of college and the this was pretty close to our best-seller sandwich

Yeah at our restaurant they didn't add the chili powder. It was really delicious, but mellow.

I emailed the recipe to myself - will definitely make it. I love Ruben's but not so much the rye bread. What would you substitute it for? Any thoughts?
