Seriously @ChrisTurk, I respect the hell out of the work you have done and are continuing to do for gig workers like me and everyone here. But this is one small moment to choose how we want to respond. We can choose to be silent, which is what I have unfortunately chosen to do too often in the past, and may likely, sadly, wrongly allow myself to choose in the future. We can both do better. We can all do better. We should and must all do better.

This was also said on a completely different forum, and addressed to someone who had already asked the question a dozen times that day, spamming the subreddit and making those of us looking for information or trying to ask questions have to sift through numerous "But why did my account get denied?" "How can I get approved?" "Can I buy an American account?" "How much for to buy and American account?" posts and comments. It was meant as a personal insult, as a troll, and to anger them specifically since they were using multiple accounts.

@ChrisTurk I only abused the quirk when it was important and I had something intelligent to add, rather than just BS casually. I've stayed off here, mostly recognizing that I was angry, confused, scared, tired, fatigued, and combining those with a lack of income and the resulting additional stress, it would just be better to lurk and hopefully one day get back in people's good graces through gradual and individual apologies. I also did it out of respect for you and @ThisPoorGuy so you wouldn't have to moderate posts if someone got butthurt.

@purplepotato Exactly. We can choose to do better. Which is what I'm trying to do. By having stepped away from this forum except for important stuff while I dealt with my own mortality and anger at the world.

But I see now that that's not going to be possible.
