Good morning fellow lurkers!!! I totally have a new goal. Hubs said I can make a mini crossfit gym at home, cause I am not going to lie, I hate leaving my place and would like to back to once every couple of weeks town trips. lol Priced everything I'll need (squat/bench press/pull up rack with bar and plate weights, plus the misc little stuff) and we're looking at about $1500 ishhhh. I could probably go a little cheaper (not by much though) but I am going with a brand of equipment I know is safe and isn't going to fail on me since I'll be doing it by myself for the most part, plus it'll last my lifetime and my kids. lol

I've been exercising at home regularly for the past 15 or so years. All I have is a barbell, dumbbells, a bench and a few small items like a ball, kettlebell, etc. I'd like a bike but I don't think big equipment is even necessary. I just do workout videos on YouTube. It's totally worth it even if it does cost you $1500. I've never exercised in a gym and I never will!

Oh nice. Do you know how that brand compares to Rogue? I like rogue because I really don't like pulley systems, because for whatever reason I can't keep form with them, also the 3x3 square seems to much more sturdy then the not square tubing that some of them use (I hope that makes sense).

I have all the little stuff as well, but I really like to max on my weights so it's definitely worth it to have a rack. I'm at 180# max squat right now, so I have to have something that can handle that and will help me do it safely cause I do not want to end up in the ER with a dumb story. lmfaoo
