    Chickens will eat anything they can catch and peck at lol. I'm not too sure what they would do with the squirrel but they are for sure snapping at the big fluffy tail as it runs away. I think they don't like invaders trying to eat the food they think belongs to them.

    A few months ago some random snake got into the pen...it didn't make it out. I only discovered the aftermath when I went to gather eggs.

    We have a chipmunk that swears it's faster then the chickens and so far it has been. It'll run in when they are on the other side of the yard, grab a mouthful of snacks and try to escape before it gets pecked to death.

    Oh man, sooner or later that's not going to work. I swear chickens learn and will eventually adapt to catch things like that. I've already seen the hens circle around the squirrels to try and cut them off. I could just be overanalyzing but it's...weird.

    They are learning...adapting.
