05/27 - Three-Star Thursday

I can have pureed foods in like 6 weeks? 4 weeks of nothing but a very slim amount of fluids/pre-digested gag protein shakes/ice pops. Then I can slowly add in soups and then I get to pureed foods lol. It was that or another feeding tube, so...sigh.



I do make a tasty pizza soup! I could just puree it in a month or so lol. Good idea!

Oh god, I'm so sorry... I tried it for a free month a while ago and it only had shitty movies IMO. That's terrible that they are doing this to you.

I'm allowed 1 glass of juice and 1 glass of carbonation a day and the doctor told me, "You're so lucky! A lot of patients don't get that."

This may seem like the grossest thing you ever heard, but I had the pureed food, predigested diet for months years ago - and found some "white fish" capsules that helped immensely and were accepted by my doc - I don't think these were them, but they were close.... https://www.luckyvitamin.com/p-3413...ure-hydrolyzed-white-fish-500-mg-180-capsules

Also weirdly enough after a lot of trial and error we had a doc recommend cooking down watermelon. Which we did. To a juice. And I would do shots of watermelon juice, which helped a lot.

I'm guessing you could freeze it into ice cubes if they are saying only ice pops. xoxoxo

 

Not my first rodeo, sadly I've ended up on the tube like 5 times in the past 12 years...blech. I can drink juice, just not more than a glass a day cause my gi isn't moving so it kinda...ferments...inside me...if I have much.

Can you do carrot juice? Does it matter if it's fruits or veggies?

My GI hates most fruit anything, unless it's been cooked. Same with veggies.

On the flipside.... didn't I read a story about someone that could ferment stuff in their digestive system? Actually I may have seen it on Greys Anatomy....
