Oh oh @ChrisTurk you’ll love this. The air pump was going too slow so (o know it dangerous and probably about 70% chance of poping the pool) I used my leaf blower. Worked like a charm. Felt like I should have been drinking a cheap domestic at the time

I killed a racoon (on accident once). When I was in high school like 10 of us or so went camping out at the lake in the summer. In tow was a large watermelon and a 1/5 of everclear. We cut a slot in the melon and dumped in the whole bottle and let it absorb. We ALL ate as much as we could and were passing out by dark. We threw away 1/2 of the watermelon because it was just too much, and flies, etc. I was awoken at like 3-4am to banging outside my tent. A racoon had knocked over the metal trash can and eaten the watermelon down to the rhine. Found him dead the next day like 50 yards away. It was in a can with a lid so I tried to protect the wildlife, but if that shit took out like 10 highschool students, that racoon had no chance.

The problem comes when you pay 4% more on everything. I think artificially inflating wages doesn't actually fix the problem. You have to change the purchasing power of the people on the lower end of the spectrum. We spend billions of dollars a year to subsidize corn, quiet literally paying for people not to grow on their land. If you want to subsidize something, subsidize child care. There's been study after study showing that the reduction of child care cost on low income families directly contributes to better mental health, over all spending power, and an increase in upward eco-mobility in the younger generations.
