    I did! I got some beef, eggs, green beans, jalapenos, garlic, onions. we do grow some stuff ourselves, but I try to go to the farmer's market instead of the grocery during the warm months.

    We have a local farmers market every saturday. But since covid, most of the people charge as much or more than the local stores. I know it helps them, and it's better food most of the time, but man money is tight these days.

    yeah I feel ya. here, alot of the veggies and fruits are cheaper than grocery, meat is comparable or more. I stopped buying almost all processed food and only eat whole meat, eggs, fruits, veggies, so the grocery bill is still comparable enough for me right now.

    I'm hoping prices go back to normal. I haven't been to the farmers market in a few months. With walmart delivery and prices being the same, it just hasn't been cost effective for going there.

    I order it iced when it's hot outside. I like it! The syrup kinda hardens at the bottom so you can suck up bits of it like it was hardened on the outside of a sunday or something. It's expensive though, and I need to cut back on how often I order those. Maybe when mturk picks up I can order them more often.

    yeah, it's a shame they're so pricey. they're also a 30 minute drive into the city for me so absolutely no motivation to go get one, lol. I will definitely go grab my free one on my birthday though.

    There's a local coffee shop here in town that is just as good, or better than starbucks depending on the drink. They are a little cheaper, but it's still $$$$. Like $4+ for a drink depending on the size/ingredients.
