    If you go to the optometrist, see if they have an optomap. I usually have them do the scan instead of dilation because I can't sit still long enough for them to put drops in my eyes. Every time the optometrist looks at my scans, they always mention they are looking for signs of diabetes. What's nice is you can get a copy and compare over the years.

    Much appreciated. I have totally different insurance for 2022 and have no idea about what's covered or who I can even see as an eye doctor. So much on my plate juggling the facets of living and other issues on my plate. I'll look into all that and mention it if/when I can make due for an eye doctor.

    Fuck Cigna BTW. Shitty useless website that a folk like me who grew up with the internets can't navigate. So 6 hour hold times on the phone just to redirect me to the website that already failed me. They need to get their shit together.

    Need a doctor? - top results are gynacolonists. Ive never known myself to have a vagina, and I'd like to think I have a decent understanding of navigating websites... Definitely no vagina though, I've checked most nights in my teen years.
