    Ooh, I did my sweet potato casserole today too. And prepped some ingredients for other things so I don't have to do it tomorrow. Someone else is making the turkey though so I don't have to do that.

    I don't mind the turkey. It's not too hard (I don't stuff it or anything), plus whoever is the turkey chef is exempt from doing the dishes.

    I don't mind doing it but my sister has the biggest table so that's where we do most holidays so she does the main course. I bring sides. Sweet potato casserole, pineapple casserole, dressing, mashed potatoes. Her boyfriend is doing cranberry relish and brussels sprouts, and somehow acquired a free cheesecake at work, which I don't have the full story on because his job, as far as I know, has nothing to do with baked goods.

    I will be making my own turkeys at some point this winter because Food lion had them 29 cent a pound for the last couple of weeks with a $35 purchase so I now have a few turkeys in the freezer. If you have the freezer space you can't really turn down a $4-$5 turkey with the way prices are now days.
