That's interesting. I do a lot of PickFu's and I noticed small changes from time to time, but have been quite consistent from my side.

 

OIC. That stinks. I've done 8 today and only had to re-answer the question about receiving email notifications on one of them, but if that starts happening more, then it will be very annoying.

I think the birth date used to be a part of their hits years ago, as mine was already auto filled on them with the fake bday I use anytime I am asked that, and I took a four year break from mturk until this past Fall. Requesters should never ask that, but I recommend everyone just use a memorable date that is close to your actual bday.

The multi page ones pay more/ have been around since I can remember, and the compensation has been pretty consistent from what I've seen. There are obviously outliers that move more quickly or slowly for the pay, but I agree with stargazer66 that things seem about the same as usual to me. And based on the pay, I can typically tell how many pages it is going to be at this point before opening or accepting the hit or approximately how many items are going to be on the 1 page tasks.

Not that user, but there was a pay scale update (not sure when exactly when?) that defaults <$13/hr to be low (which I agree with, don't forget we have to pay SE taxes) so that's why your seeing that often.

 

Ah, OK. Is there a place to see that updated pay scale? My TV still defaults to the old ranges it looks like.

 

Sorry, tried searching and can't find the post right now - I know it was updated at least a few years ago. The main turkerview.com page still shows the old pay scale though.
