I always buy my glasses from zenni because they're way cheaper and even regular shipping gets them to me in less than a week. I don't have bifocals but I know they would irritate the hell out of me if I did. I'd get a paper prescription and order them online https://www.zennioptical.com/
I'm lazy and keep my prescription in there. The last time I went to the eye doctor (sometime during the pandemic) he said my eyes hadn't changed in five or six years so I figure I'm good for another few years. Is this a chain or private practice? That seems like a lot.

Are any of you doing the study being discussed on the prolific reddit with people confused about task completion and code submission? I have similar questions and did 3 "tasks" within one study before I just submitted with nocode because I was well over the intended completion time on prolific. They haven't responded to my message on prolific.

 

checked redditm if it's the first post I saw, I have no clue/unfamiliar with that requester.

 

Well that's a bummer I am worried about rejections so I will avoid for now. 25 mins seems longish for one task after you are familiar with what you are doing but I am not sure. 24+ hr much better than most things I am doing.

 

it's a private practice and not a chain. the person immediately found my eye dr. had already written a prescription for glasses that I want for turking. The whole lenses being the same as the very bottom of the bifocals I already have. it turned out that the whole appointment today was unnecessary. I also don't need 2+ other appointments they said I needed. I knew they were making things way more complicated than they needed to be! now I have to go back to order the glasses if I want them from there, or get them from that place you go through. not sure yet because I did find a pair of frames I liked a lot there. but the way you get them looks a lot easier.
