    I mainly only do csats and when I was suspended I was using MTS catcher for csats. I have received 402 errors when using MTS even though my PAR's were not that high, so I'm curious if MTS is no longer allowed or if it triggering automatic bans somehow. Also, I see that many of the workers who reported suspensions are veterans so it might be possible they are filtering out those who have been on Mturk for many years and starting fresh (considering the July 31 deadline for new users).

    Pretty much the same experience as me. Plugging along with CSATS using MTS and Panda Crazy Max. Had to switch to Brave browser 2 weeks ago to continue using those tools and for the last month or so have been getting a fair amount of 402 errors. Been turking for 10+ years.

    The pre's have been really bad since the last mass suspension was lifted at the end of May.

    This is exactly what I have been doing for the past year probably. I got axed in the middle of doing one of those video jobs that you find if they're offensive.

    hmm I mean I get that they want to start fresh but they could at least pay out . afaik once an account is suspended, whatever money you had in the account doesn't automatically gets transferred to your bank account. That's pretty messed up and sounds like illegal.

    One scenario that I can imagine is since they are disabling new MTurk account sign-ups soon, they figured they could also downscale the servers that MTurk runs on since the load is likely to get progressively lower in the future as fewer HITs are posted. But since right now the servers are at near-capacity as it is, they just targeted an x% of turkers who generated the highest average load on the servers and suspended them.

    But that seems pretty extreme. Hopefully it's just a bug, same as a few months ago.

    i doubt that, only because i only do VRAPI, which is few big hits not lots of small ones, my PRE rate this morning before i got banned was 0.2.

    you were also suspended? If so, did you get your account reinstated already? I also mostly do VRAPI ( but not part of their slack channel so I have no updates etc)

    That is not a deadline for new workers. It's a deadline for requesters. Notice how they say "customers". Workers aren't customers.

    yeah i just got that too. They really need to pay up though, isn't that illegal if there is money in my account that I earned already? Do you have access to VRAPI slack? maybe they can help here

    hmmm, so strange. It looks like they're just getting rid of older accounts. My payout is in a few days, I'll update if it goes through etc for those with money still pending etc.
