They named a moon for jupiter after Io as well!

Neither of those reasons are why the named the dog Io though. I could make sense of using greek mythology or nerdy space dudes using a moon name without knowing it's origin. They basically just threw together some letters for her name though, it's entirely coincidental.

She also seems vaguely scared when I use that name, and cowers more than I enjoy, so I'm just not using it at this point.

 

My 4 year old great grandson just told my 92 year old mom, "G grampa plays on his computer , and he makes money!" LOL...I better get off of here....Happy Ho ho holidays folks!
