01/26 - Filled up Friday!

I leave for like two hours and the sh*t hits the fan blades and apparently things are warbling all over the place.



So who's up for another cocktail?

 

Is whiskey over whiskey with a whiskey chaser considered a cocktail?

If so... yes.

 

Finally got around to cleaning all my old/obsolete www scripts that are defunct. I'm not slow, I just wasn't around much for December/January.

 

Trying to be the old me I see

 

Sure but that it too many stages of preparation.

My current cocktail is three fingers of single malt scotch (that's old enough to vote) and a single drop of water.

 

And the old me.

All of those words are perfect.

 

I should have stocked up more if I knew I was going to be serving the whole class.

 

It's cool, I've got plenty.

 

Way too close to home. I worked as a bartender throughout college / grad school, and after the last day of my MBA Marketing Management class, the prof took everyone out for drinks. I couldn't go because I had to work.

Of course they came to my bar, and I ended up serving them.

$400 tab, $5 tip, and mountains of salt to this day.

 

I'd have given the $5 back and said "Here, you obviously need this more than I do."

I don't think image-based recognition is going to take our jobs just yet.

 

I've been on that side of the bar top and speed rails as well and that's a cheap prick move right there. I still to this day remember the piss poor tippers after occupying a chair for most night then slinging me what amounts to pocket change on a several hundred dollar tab.
