Yep, he killed it for the Wolves and he'll always hold a special place in my heart. He was a Thrasher system failure and it makes me sad. He had Wanderin' Wendell coaching him here trying to make him a strong puck handler when it was unnatural for him, and Wendell didn't know how to teach much else, bless his heart. And he got addicted to McDonald's and nobody cared until he ballooned. After going to a specialist in Finland, they realized he was dropping to the butterfly wrong, putting the wrong pressure on his hips/hip flexor, causing all the groin issues. Atlanta was like " stop doing that?" any time he got injured, and managed him even worse. See also: not knowing how to rehab Pasi either. And Normy only being good at getting blackout drunk. Kari's first offseason after being traded to the Stars, he raved about how great the training was, and stayed the entire offseason working with their goalie coach (Valley?) and learned how to actually do the butterfly correctly and was like "what the actual fuck was Atlanta thinking", but obviously the damage was done and siiigh.

Fucking Thrashers. I have a lot of feelings about them.
