    CREATE tmp_table SELECT * FROM returns;
    TRUNCATE TABLE returns; (...wtf am i doing?)
    ALTER TABLE returns add unique blah blah
    INSERT IGNORE INTO returns SELECT * from tmp_table
    DROP TABLE tmp_table

    god forbid any of that fuck up I'd have instantly deleted every return review ever submitted to TV.. and ofc the end result msg is like "0 rows returned"
