My dad was the security director for Venture Department Stores in the area (not sure if anyone would remember Venture), so he got to personally work with a bunch of the 85 bears when they would do autograph signings. He has a framed picture of him with Jim McMahon in his man cave.

 

I did a lot of transcription work for a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader documentary coming out, which interviewed all the original DCC girls. It was actually super interesting to listen to. They're all still really pretty, very modest, and very kind women.

I totally remember Venture! That's so cool, what a great memento to have.

My dad was working at Wolf Camera in Schaumburg when Payton came in to buy a SLR, and asked for private training to use it. My dad loved telling the story, especially the part about him being romantically accompanied by a woman who was most definitely not his wife.

 

I'm pretty sure that almost all if not all of the free ones on steam are garbage... in fact most of the good VNs are not on steam.
