Requester is a bit of a mixed bag, but this was a decent hit. Took me maybe 8 minutes.
There's another by the same requester up for those who consider themselves "serious athletes"

I took the time tonight to create a few guides and threads to fill out TH a bit. If you guys want to go check them out and give me some feedback I would greatly appreciate it. I still have a few more threads to create and some links to add but mostly plan on leaving these alone for the time being (unless someone spots something that needs changed)

I will also be accepting more responsibilities with my full time job and so I think the days of being able to hang out here and turk all day every day are numbered. Ill have to get settled into my new routine and see just how much TH/turking I can still fit in.

Hopefully the congratulations are not premature on the increase in responsibilities. Even if there is no immediate benefit, hopefully down the line there will be.

As to the guides, I see nothing wrong with them. However perhaps advice on how for people to actually deal with a rejection rather than just how to try to get it overturned might be good. Like full on dr phil (well not really but hope you get the gist)

Title has been changed to just "Rejections". I plan to go into greater detail about how rejections can affect a workers account in future guides. I'll have to see how the drafts end up though. I might end up expanding the rejection guide and just putting it all in there instead.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Edit: I think I'd like to end up moving the backup thread I started into the guide section and expanding that a bit too.

I was kinda referring to a worker's mental/emotional state that can be caused from rejections, hence the dr phil comment. Though affects on an account is a great bit of information as well. Am mainly thinking for newer turkers, I remember my first rejection and the 17,000+ character rant that ensued about it on another place... especially because it was a BS rejection and I was told it would be overturned but the requester never did...

As it stands I have 13541 submitted with 4 rejections... LOVE having that false 100% approval rating lol

If you have an idea for how that would write out, shoot me a PM. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. I would think though that the explanation that rejections happen, how sometimes it won't be your fault, and hearing how that affects a workers account would help answer those questions/calm someone down after a rejection but certainly if you feel there is something further to add I'm all ears for improvements.

I'll probably do so at some point tonight or tomorrow night depending on how my non-mturk stuff goes and how well my shoulder feels after all this tying today lol. No concrete ideas but never been opposed to a brainstorming session :)

Unless he reneged on that and I missed it (totally possible).
