They are a great way to pass time I just haven't played one in awhile. By the way if you plan on playing muv luv extra/unlimited/Alternative avoid looking up info on the sequel (Alternative) as the description of muv luv alternative is a fairly large spoiler. imo

Yeah I love when VNs are like choose your own adventure books. Although some manage to pull kinetic sequels ect off well.
