I've been there countless times, as I used to have family there, so have seen the normal tourist stuff - petrified forest, painted desert, superstition mountains, grand canyon, etc...

but my gf really wants to go for whatever reason. Anyone around there - phoenix area in particular know of anything that may not be the typical tourist shit that may be worth doing?
