I'll repost this (probably a few times), but:

Forum Guidelines/Rules Have Been Overhauled
As always, I appreciate and am incredibly grateful for everyone's contributions here. I've said time and time again its awesome how much the tone of our community changed from a simple website switch. With that said, the "don't be a jerk" guideline kind of doesn't cut it now, especially with new folks dropping by and joining who aren't as familiar with our culture.

So I've overhauled, rewritten, and defined a more structured rule set for the site. I've also implemented a new infractions system to avoid using outright bans as behavioral feedback (I agree with y'all who got in touch with me with the message "yo bro that was harsh, you have mellowed my vibe"). If you're one of the folks who caught a temp-ban for something and you felt like it was rude, I'm sorry. It wasn't personal or anything, it was just the quickest & easiest way to deal with some situations, but I've improved my knowledge of XenForo's moderation features (and the mods explained some of them too lol). I strongly advise familiarizing yourselves with the new guidelines, but as always the TL;DR is "don't be a dick, especially when you think someone else 'deserves it' - and don't post survey content."

Special Note
The one account per person rule is now formalized. I want to stress that as of right now I don't know anyone who is in violation of this. But between the Stanley paranoia (no, he isn't registered here) and some of the confusion between multi-member homes I felt like spelling this rule out explicitly should help people relax. I do a pretty thorough job vetting folks who join, and believe me the mods are on top of stuff, so please if you have concerns/whatever DM me and I'll look into it.
