Maybe they assumed that since you were receiving income to your payments account that you're signed up as a seller, in which case you'd be able to just look at it on your seller dashboard in the tax documents section like PayPal..?

The 'Reports' bar at the top when you login should have the link to Tax Document Library, but I have no clue if your 1099 will be in there w/o an active seller account. I had tried to get an account to setup Amazon Payments for donations here, but again it was against the ToS so I bailed and that's all I know/remember.

Ah, sorry then. Like I said I had tried to register an account so I can login to it and check that section.. Its probably not worth trying to get a seller account just for an electronic 1099 copy since I'm unsure if it'd even get placed there because the process is actually a gigantic pain in the ass and I have no clue how far you'd have to get for even a chance at it working. Was worth a passing mention though
