scurred masters batch

 

Looks like the earlier Sergey batch is starting to approve. I didn't notice the buttons changing until I started the current one, and I'll be sitting the rest of it out, but at least the first one doesn't seem to be a bulk rejection.

 

I sent him an email for the masters batch, I got to think he would know everyone that worked both those batches did not miss that many radio buttons... BUT it is possible that he could block those that did a ton and probably knew the bug.

 

Tried to sleep but can't yet

OW keeps logging me out about every 10 min. no idea what happened there

The toolbox is getting a small addition that brings a lot of new features. As always, you'll need to hard refresh the site for the update to take effect.

If you open the toolbox and check the area that used to house the user filters you'll notice its been overhauled.

There are now a couple of new ways to be notified of content on the website, even if you have it running in a background tab or off screen.

HIT Export Desktop Notifications

HIT notifications will always be denoted by the panda icon instead of user avatar to make them easier to spot/identify. Clicking on these notifications will take you directly to the mTurk previewandaccept link to try and accept the HIT (and award the poster with a Panda Point as if you'd clicked the link from the forum itself).

New Social Post Notifications

Social notifications will let you know when a new post is made to the daily thread that doesn't involve a HIT export.

Real-Time Keyword Alert Notifications

Instead of wasting valuable minutes waiting on an e-mail to arrive from keyword alerts (these are only sent every ~5min or so on average) you can now be instantly alerted when someone mentions PFA or 3.14.

Keyword / User Blacklisting
In order to help everyone customize their forum experience to tailor it to his/her personal taste I've revamped the way the blacklist works. Now not only can you filter out individual users, but you can also remove entire topics by filtering keywords commonly associated with them (at some point I may build 'keyword packs' that include a large list of words related to topics like anime, sex, etc - though for now you're on your own!).

Its important to note that these will not filter out any posts containing work-related content such as HITs, userscripts, or links to mTurk related websites. Which means you can use this feature liberally without negatively impacting your work experience.

Both keyword areas support the use of regular expressions, if you know what those are/how to use them enjoy. Yes you can break the script with them I'm sure, in which case God speed to you. If you don't know what regex is or how to use it, try to avoid using special characters / punctuation in keywords

Well isn't that just special! I have several standing task groups that happen during the night and I depend on the system staying up and running while I try to catch an hour of sleep in between hits ... So much for getting any sleep tonight ... sigh ... Soooooo tired ....

 

Well they need to KNOCK IT OFF!!! hehehehe Some of us need our "beauty sleep" between groups of hits! hehehehe
