It's never happened to me. I think there has only been a handful of times I've been screened out of any survey on mTurk, since the requirements are usually clearly disclosed and I just don't accept those hits. The ones that aren't disclosed, I'm most often screened out of because I don't work in a particular field. It could be a combination of things anyway, not just that you're white. Maybe they have enough people who are white *and* make under/over a certain amount or something like that.

 

I would be 110% happier to receive functional gifts like toilet paper or laundry soap or cleaning supplies.

Although the real way to my heart is home decor items

 

@CheshireKitty Is the laundry detergent tide pods in that ad? In that case, you're supposed to eat them. They are like strawberries, but they will kill you instead!

was mostly just curious. i'm not white and i get screened out a decent amount of stuff. not complaining or anything, i totally understand the need for specific demographics when conducting studies.
