**This is important. Please read this, if you care about this community. I think there is a problem, and I guess because I've been gone so long, I didn't notice it since I've been back.**

For those not in the loop, Miya02 had a $1.50 per hit batch up recently that had a # submitted cap (apparently not a thing in the past). Yesterday, when I asked about these hits, Sagebrushdan noticed his 278 submissions were rejected (the 15 amount under the cap were approved).

Requester Miya02 went from 99% to 72% to 77% to 82% (current) within a day. Looks like Dan saw it go to 77%, and then to 72%. And didn't notice it's back up to 82% (has to be manually checked now that the batch is gone).

My question is, is it just you (sagebrushdan) and a small # of other workers affecting the approval rating? I noticed the 15 cap (which was changed to 30 a few days later) as soon as the last batch was posted a week or so ago. I know you said yesterday you did thousands of hits for the requester without a problem previously. Now, **I'm wondering if you and other workers that realized everything was getting approved are part of the reason the cap was instituted in the first place**.

Also, you complained about TV being "useless" today, but I don't see a review from you that shows rejections, which I think is what Jane Doe was getting at, which you rudely responded to. Is that because you were being greedy and didn't want to share these tasks with others? Or what's the explanation for that? You have ***six or eight reviews total over your account lifetime**.

IDK, I hate to accuse someone of something, but the timeline I'm seeing shows you admittedly doing thousands of hits in the past without an issue. Then, somehow you did 278 (+15 that were approved on your end) and getting rejected for the 278, which I'm guessing would have been done in a 2 day period, since that looks to be the turnaround time based on someone that did do a review. And that was most of the batch if not all of it, if I recall correctly.

So, if my inkling is correct, were you just smashing the spacebar and enter on these hits cause you knew they would be approved like in the past? And you somehow did 293 of them without noticing the glaring warnings about rejections on each task? Feels like maybe a script may have been being used tbh.

Honestly, I just want to know, but my curiosity is also poised because as soon as I posted that the cap had been raised yesterday when we were talking, the last of the miya02 hits disappeared super quickly after being up for a week. Likewise, I made a great (imo) post about doing another batch the other day, and they were disappearing unbelievably quickly the next day, which likely indicates bots and/ or the requester deciding to pull them, which I've seen happen before (possibly both?). **Maybe they realized a bunch of bots and scripts were being used, which effectively screwed us all if so**.

To reiterate, I don't want to accuse people on this site of anything, but *things like this make it seem like there are a lot of people leeching off of this community and maybe something should be done to cure that*. I don't want to give feedback on tasks so that workers with no ethics can leech off of my advice, and I'll certainly think more about it in the future.

Please let me know what you all think because it seems like this is a huge problem. People that are not contributing to the community should not have access.

    No. I get that man.

I meant there used to be no cap, that is when I used to do 100's of them.

Last time they posted, there was a two hit cap. I only did 2 hits.

This time. I forgot to read the instructions. There was now a 15 cap. And this is the only time I went over the cap, and got fair rejections for doing so.

This is the only batch, and the prior one also, that actually had a cap. before there was no mention in the instructions of a limit at all.

I think that they have posted about 10 to 20 times by now, so back in the beginning I would do a lot, because there was no stated limit at all in the instructions. Maybe like 6 months ago.

And please don't accuse me of poor work. I did exceptional work on the hits themselves.

I guess you have never missed anything in the instructions before. Lol. Get over yourself dude.

Yeah, maybe 20 years ago when I got my first mass reject, I learned to read the instructions. Get over yourself, bruh, cause I know you look like a Chad. The instructions for those literally had it highlighted and glaringly said that you can't do more than the number stated. So, you literally glanced over that close to 300 times? We're not talking about 2 cent or 3 -10 cent hits where that might be a thing. We're talking about $1.50 tasks that probably take a bit longer. I think you've helped prove my point, Chad, I mean Dan.

And can I also get a reason why you think TV is useless, but you've obviously contributed to the problem by making 6-8 reviews in almost 2 years. Do you not see that that is the problem?

Caps are for bots and idiots like you that think the rules don't apply to them. Caps are because you think you know something about CS, but you're a scrub. Hate to get personal, but all signs point to that.

I'm sorry but that is incorrect. I guess you have not learned anything in your 20 years of turking about basic computer science and data tagging.

Can anyone else jump in here? Caps could actually be for a lot of reasons, but I think it's pretty clear here that you or others were trying to scam. Your responses make me more confident in that every time you reply.
