ASUS VN248H-P Slim Bezel Black 23.8" IPS FHD $119.99 and there is a $20 MIR (and yes it has a VESA mount.. I am not sure why it has been hard to find monitors with one)

I am having an issue getting watched threads to notify me of new posts. I click watch and have email off .. because I don't want it to email me.. but I don't get notifications.

Nice. I know that I could have in theory gotten a better deal if I waited longer.. but fuck it I have waited long enough... And honestly at some point I will be getting a 4th monitor (or getting rid of my oldest under 1080p monitor) and buying a vesa mount to make this current one into a vertical monitor..

The 4th monitor will likely be either a 1440p 144hz ips freesync monitor or a 4k 144hz freesync if those exist at a reasonable price when I go to buy one. Both options are currently crazy expensive so

edit: I'll fall asleep eventually.. I'm in 'sleep mode' .. as in I am in my bed just dicking around on reddit...

1440p 144hz IPS monitors do sometimes go on sale for ~$300.. but honestly part of me wants to hold out for a OLED 4k freesync monitor.

On a side note my brother was like "why do you need 3 monitors".. (He has the exact same setup of a 24in 1080p monitor and a vertical 19" 1440 x 900 monitor) and I just laugh because if you have dug down and down real work on a computer it is very easy to see how extra monitors can be used.
