Buy a Chromecast or Android TV instead

 

Unless you need to playback local media (like remuxes of a BD or something) then chromecasts are fine imho.

 

I have the Fire TV gaming edition not the stick.
But you'll probably deem that unworthy as well, just like you deem everything else unworthy except for multiple monitors, gaming mouses, and anime.

 

Meanwhile, I'm rocking my 25 ft hdmi cable boo yah.

 

The issue I have with the firestick isn't the power itself but how much of a dick amazon has been. Also the plex app on the firestick is garbage unless that has changed.

Also because the firestick is a thing amazon removed amazon streaming from the chromecast >.> ... basically the reason I like roku is because they aren't involved in any of that drama.
