If you can remember the amount of time you spent on the original hit, review it normally. Otherwise just blank out the time so you don't skew his hourly.

 

document.querySelector('input[type=text], textarea').focus() should work almost universally & will just fail on hits w/o text input (I think) so could do a one-and-done script for it.

In jquery you can :visible / :first to make it a little more "safe" but it's so damn rare for HITs to have a hidden text field it probably doesn't matter?

I'm pretty sure it's sitting on my hide instructions script & hasn't ever caused me a headache, but I'm also the type to brain filter it & just correct in instances when it does bug out so YMMV
