Sure! And many many years ago!
The Flowbee is without a doubt a 'funny' kind of thing, but I had one for a couple decades,
and it really works well if you can feel like you look okay with your hair all cut to the same length.
I think I saved about 6 gazillion dollars on haircuts during this time period!
And with the different sized attachments, you can get more precise than I did if you want to, but
it always felt too complicated and 'iffy' to me. I really liked the simplicity of the consistency of the
quick and easy 'Varoom!' approach I took. If I wasn't so impoverished right now, I'd get another
one in a heartbeat. Last time I looked, these things were looking kind of expensive, but if you
weren't bothered by the idea of a 'used' one, you might be able to find the older model I had for
a bargain price just for the purpose of 'checking it out'. It seemed to be very well-built.
And even the expensive ones wouldn't take long to 'pay for themselves'!
Last thought before I make myself shut-up is that the whole concept of cutting your own hair
can be very satisfying 'mentally'! I mean, to stand in front of your bathroom mirror while holding
a vacuum cleaner tube with razor blades in it in one hand and a hand mirror in the other is not
the kind of thing that would ever get you considered to be a coward! It's sort of a male version
of the 'Annie Oakley' concept! And no one ever 'messed' with her!
P.S. Recommend using a small high-quality 'shop vac' with this thing, for both power and
convenience, although if you already have a larger shop vac that'll work okay!
I'm not in a position to make a recommendation if you use a standard household 'push'
vacuum cleaner. Those things have always 'sucked' (HAHAHA!) for decades now!
