maybe I should rethink this work situation

 

Sounds like the advice of someone who tried already

 

I was on /r/mturk for a week or two and then I joined a mturk forum and my earnings got drastically better lol

 

I blame google showing up old crappy guides at the top of searches.

 

the /r/mturk guide was at least a good starting point that was better then whatever you got lol I was using turkmaster and hitscraper from the start more or less.

 

Well now I make more money with less effort.

 

I'm not even halfway to where i was at this point last year =/

 

Before MTS existed, it was also a hell of a lot easier to get hits. I used to pick up things from the forums all the time.

 

Well I mean if people give you money... Then you are a little better off?

If anything, that'd be HN's fault, MTS doesn't help grab stuff from the forums.

It wasn't you that I was blocking lol the way the block feature on the side thing works is kind of funny.. it blocks quotes as well.. 'll switch back to ignore.

all of the tools/scripts/forums play a role in harder to catch work..

but theres also simply less work available recently.. especially for some folks without certain closed qualifications

...which means more competition
