Well that was short lived. Back in Ben Peterson timeout lol.

 

I guess the survey platform designers figured Ctrl+F would be a good shortcut, F for Forward, to go to the next page. — They didn't realize (or didn't care lol) that that key assignment would conflict with the Ctrl+F function many of us use with web browsers in Windows, to invoke the in-page search function.

 

Memo to self:
To avoid the next-page shortcut, I'll have to remember to use the browser's menu to invoke the in-page search function, instead of using Ctrl+F.

Or maybe I can script up a workaround in AutoHotkey to make Ctrl+F invoke the in-page search function instead of the survey's next-page shortcut.

 

"Consumption patterns and decisions" (on Prolific) gave me a chuckle, and it pays well for such a short task.

Someone has a sense of humor.
For one question in a market survey, one response option is "Who Gives a Crap."

 

Quick one, he already let me out! Last time he made me wait a few days lol.

 

Some researchers use the same study name and everything multiple times a week. You always have to check the quals, your previous tv reviews and sometimes your dashboard to see whether or not you have completed it or if it has a qual that you don't have. It gets tricky but after a while, you start to realize the ones that do that. That MTS checkmark does always mean that that's the one that you did on a new day...
