Careful with that "mouse wheel."
Sometimes, rolling it may change one of your previous inputs.

I try to remember to click outside of the input fields to prevent further changes, before rolling the wheel.

But sometimes I forget to do that. (And there might be cases where doing that doesn't always help.)

So I often scroll back to re-check my previous entries, and I often use the scroll-bar instead of the wheel.

Ridiculously short timeouts are pointless! — Some researchers may never figure this out.

I'm engaged, I'm doing the writing task, I'm doing a great job, BZZZT, timed out, 'k-thx-bai.

I'm knowingly "underpaying myself" by taking the time to do careful work, but no, the researcher doesn't want that.

Sometimes they have reasons, they want quick reactions, not ponderous contemplation. Fine, when that's the reason.

But sometimes the timer is set too short for no good reason at all.

 

A lot of them are pretty clueless, for how "smart" they are in their field.
