That reason would be so they can reject the HIT for not spending enough time on it.

 

It's silly that we need to "reload the page" to see the latest on Prolific & Connect.

"Reloading the page" is so '90s — I mean, modern web browsers and servers since years & years ago have been capable of quickly updating any part of a page "dynamically" in near-real-time, without having to "reload" the page.

Prolific says there's no need to reload; jobs will appear automatically. — But I think what Prolific is doing is just simplistically auto-reloading every 2 minutes. Not a faster dynamic real-time immediate refresh of the task list when new tasks are available.

ugh, what is up with Pluto and its bugs? — That movie isn't loading for me. I thought such loading failures were my crappy laptop's fault, but now I've upgraded to a better laptop and Pluto still isn't working right. Pluto has always been a somewhat buggy platform, IME (In My Experience).

 

Today's "easy" survey from Townsend is indeed fairly quick and easy enough. — No complaint from me on this one. YMMV.
