    I lived in a barn with over 40 cats (and a few other types of animals) for like half a year. The owners would put cardboard over the poop on the floor and then when that was covered they'd put more cardboard down over that so the floor was like cat poop lasagna

    My mom used to run an animal shelter and there was this lady who had a bunch of cats and was one of those really bad hoarder types. She agreed to take the cats from the lady and we went over there to see them all. Her son told me I had to cover myself from head to toe because the house was full of cat shit. He wasn't lying. It was knee deep cat shit with little pathways to walk. My mom called adult protective services as soon as we got out of there. I'll never forget seeing that.
