    @oldtimeturker we're having a mother's day luncheon :emoji_hugging: We had to do it a week early to accommodate the speaker's schedule.

    Perhaps they're taking more from the requesters but the hourly on most of what I get from them (that I take) is similar to the same studies served on mturk. If I'm in no rush i'll take a payout through Circle. If I'm headed out to a bar and want to make sure I'm topped off on my Paypal account I'll eat the penalty.

    It doesn't matter if it's "similar" - it could be higher at no cost to you and for no reason other than they're lying to improve their reputation & attract clients.

    You're handing over free money for nothing but crying foul on Amazon for batch fee processing when Prolific has even worse practices in that regard and always has. I wonder how much money they get to make in holding on a 200% minimum withdrawal increase? Oh and they get to skim off the conversion rate? Woo boy darn that evil amazon though!

    So strange & I don't understand the disconnect when you obviously take some issue w/ Amazon's practices but are giving them a pass... because you can take an even bigger loss throwing it into PayPal?

    I know i'm coming off as a massive ash hole here, and I'm sorry, but this kind of thing is awful for the worker population.
