Ouch! – That post reminded me to check: I'd forgotten to update my profile info on one other survey platform, so I was guilty of discrepancies (age off-by-one, old postal zip code) between my outdated profile and my demographic responses on a few surveys. Fixed.



(My "permanent" demographic data obviously hasn't changed.)
Obviously I don't want any discrepancies at all. "Everything matters."

 

Bingo! I quickly noticed that my usual perfect grammar, punctuation, spelling, tense, etc.(yes, I'm that old) looked much like the way an AI would frame a statement, so I now am more careful to be not so careful. Not to be formal. When I was young, we were taught to be all these things and were expected to present correctly. Now I can be unlettered, untrained, uneducated. Plain. Common. Blah.

 

The agents are here in the room with us.

Tyranny of low expectations running wild and they will get the data to fit their presumptions because if you don't then obviously you are yourself an AI or using one.

 

Yeah, ive never seen an agent in the wild before, but I've trained many of them. I guess this forum does not have good security against bots/AI.

 

It's generally clear when it's an AI. There is a lack of that human nuance. The looseness found in human speech. The emotion in the phrasing and words. The AI's built in biases they can't get around. AIs are still machines.

 

Careful of this one. I tried to do it and it was a lot of typing/explaining your answers and threats of rejection (on a 5 minute timer) and then wouldn't let me submit the survey saying I didn't answer questions I had. It expired while I was trying to type more to see if I needed to get to some magical character limit. Then I went back and looked and they have a 10% approval rate so I guess all's well that ends well, it probably would've gotten rejected anyway lol
