Just got back from the baby shower across the street. I have to say, a taco bar is a most excellent idea for a shower. Those were some great tacos (real tacos, real Mexican tacos, not the fake tacos we think are real tacos).

They also had "Mom"-osas. Those go surprisingly well with tacos.

a good hour+ from me so i don't go often, but totally worth the trip.

 

We did a taco bar for the kids graduation party a few years ago. Along with a soft serve ice cream machine and a nacho cheese dispenser. He had a reggae theme, not sure how it all tied in together, but it was yummy. Not authentic yummy, but yummy.
