Is LG a good buy for TVs now? I used to be a panasonic guy, but they aren't in the game anymore.

Depends on what you get. Their Nanocells don't seem great in my opinion but if you want an OLED they are the most bang for the buck out there.

I kinda shop for best bang for the buck. Good/great, but not break the bank/overpay.

 

OLED will blow you away with the picture quality. If you are trying for something cheap and pretty great go with TLC or Hisense's topline.
