I just saw all of your e-mails.

First of all big apologies! What happened yesterday was of course not ok at all from my side.

Let me explain what happened.

Yesterday was the very first time for me using Amazon MTurk for a project at university. I prepared a survey on Qualtrics did some changes on it and made a copy of the old version.

As I am completely new to MTurk I am not aware of some settings. And that was the problem, I forgot to add the settings I wanted plus I linked the wrong survey on Qualtrics (the old survey mentioned above) which should have never been published.

30 minutes after publishing the survey on MTurk I checked the website again and saw that I used the wrong survey link. But it was too late, the 400 participants were already collected.

I started to panic, didn’t know what to do and used the most inappropriate, ignorant and arrogant excuse ever for rejecting all of you, which I am really really sorry of and I deleted the whole survey on Amazon MTurk as well as on Qualtrics after rejecting you. Meaning I don’t even have the data of your answers anymore.

I should just have written the truth or paid for my mistake from the beginning, then maybe the whole situation would not have escalated that quickly.

Therefore I can understand all of your messages! And I can again just say that I am really sorry!

I want you to know that I am not a scammer and will never be!

Anyway I want to find a solution now in order to pay you for your participation in the survey!

As I am new I don’t know how we can resolve the whole thing. I don’t know if I can get the survey back as I deleted it.

That’s why I need your help:
Do you know how to restore the survey? If so, please get in contact with me, you have my e-mail.

Also if there is another way to contact all of you besides writing an e-mail, let me know as well please. I couldn’t find any chat tool on Amazon MTurk.

I have no idea how to help him, this is the second rejection I've gotten this week for similar reasons. If there are any resources to help him overturn the rejection, I can send it to him
