None yet. There's nesting boxes for 12. Thing is, the original owners (not the previous ones) moved this house from about 8 miles away about 50 years ago due to a new mining tailing pond being built and flooding getting worse. The coop has a concrete foundation, rafters, 2x6 floor joists, and a water line run from the well. It could easily be turned into a tiny house with very little effort. I've already run power out to it from the garage circuit for heaters, lights, and a recirculating pump in winter in case a heater fails or I'm too lazy during a blizzard to go outside.

It's my dad's new place, but he runs his own mfg business out of the shop, so doesn't have time to do all the small stuff that needs done.

 

Love it. It reminds me of old school Acid House Rock - has the techno dub going on with the rock edge.

 

Wow. I have friends who have chicken coops that don't even touch that. Actually I can't think of any small scale farmers that have concrete foundations and water lines. If you've got power and heat out there that's pretty impressive - particularly in blizzards.

The original owners are in their 90's, so you can extrapolate from there. The garage/shop is a barn, with a small shed that was originally for goats.

There's 8 acres of woods, so it'll just be chickens. No time nor inclination for anything else. His business comes first, until I get back into a decent paying job and get him a CNC machine for Christmas. Then program it for him.
