My cat does the same thing. She brings me every item of clothing from my closet that she can reach. Whole blankets and towels, she drags up onto the bed or to wherever I am.

 

It is from other homes though. He goes inside of houses and steels shit.

 

My dog does this with blankets and occasionally Gregor. Just drags them out of their spot so he can lie down on them even though he has his own blanket and a couch that pretty much no one but him uses.

 

TBH I'm on the same page as you most of the way. But at the end of the day, I also believe that it only takes one action at a time to make a difference. My wife and I don't take straws at restaurants. What's 2 straws, afterall? But if we go out 100 times a year (including CFA & Chipotle ) that's 200 straws. And maybe somebody sees us and makes a decision to go without also...no we're talking 300 straws etc etc etc. 300 straws may not matter, but then again...maybe it does.
