    I went to my network and it showed that my wifi was on and connecter and my lan was also connected. I turned the wifi off, restarted it and checked again. Same results so im going to try moving my router away from the tv and game systems.

    I didnt even think of them as an issue.

    I assume you power cycled the router/modem (or whatever it is you have)? That could be potentially related to a router with crappy firmware having a memory leak and dropping packets or something.

    Your game systems likely are not causing interference. I meant from like neighbors and what not. This poor guy's advice is solid too!

    going to check that now. Thinking back i did update the firmware about two months ago. I have been getting those drops around that time, i think.

    If it's possible you may want to step the firmware back down to t he version it was at before. Occasionally consumer router firmware updates add more bugs than they fix ;)

    This confused me so much that I returned it. It almost felt like either like you said the English was not right or there was a qual pertaining to a certain topic that should have been used.

    Dang couldn't get back online. I did roll back but I had to clone my pc mac adress for it to connect. Think I might look into a new router lol

    Gotta love a survey with a back button where they actually bothered to change the tab order so when you hit tab it goes to the forward button first instead of the back button.

    I would also check the wifi channels at your site. I sometimes have wifi problems if there are neighbors also using the same wifi channel as me so I change the wifi channel in my router config and that usually cleans things up until another neighbor gets a wifi router or wifi connected device that uses that channel. ;)

    At least it keeps me excited that I have to change the wifi channel occasionally instead of the boring set it and forget it.
