    Or a "I'm not trying to spend 3x as long in this store as I need to" problem.. those things are absolutely moronic.

    If stores actually gave a shit, they wouldn't cram as much garbage as possible to make the isles as tiny as possible. A local grocery store here did just that, they removed 2 aisle and spaced everything further apart.

    Personally those signs feel more about keeping you in the store (which is proven to increase spending IIRC) more than actually caring about customer health.

    For what it's worth (not really following this discussion), your typical big name store (e.g., Von's) have an incredibly tiny net profit margin in the area of 1.2% last I looked which was ....... decades ago. :)
