30k here when i got masters, had been doing surveys and mostly acme and such for batch work, that was like 10 years ago now i think. im at 110k now lol

 

what are the CR quals?

 

its pretty crap if its impossible to get masters now since there are still a lot of the best hits that require it...

CR #1 and CR #2. you forget about that fiasco already?

I probably knew and then forgot

 

the Cloud Research bullshit that was handed out most of last year, where if you have CR #1 you can do shittons of hits but if you get CR #2 you can't really get much and its all tied to Survey Comet somehow. I swore you knew about this cause its been discussed here a ton and people are still not happy about it.

 

I tried to follow all the conversations but never did understand what everyone has been talking about

 

can we even still get the right survey comet quals to get good hits? not the ones that are bad. I didn't ask because it seemed past tense by the time I sort of realized something something survey comet.

 

it still pops up here and there but if you have CR 2 already, you have to wait a long time to get a Survey Comet hit to POSSIBLY get into CR 1. its all a round about mess. Especially when you think AMT has a third party scraping their data to make THEIR own quals to limit what hits people can do, there by limiting the amount of $$ AMT is getting from requesters since CR 2 wont let you do a lot of hits posted. PLUS.....Cloud Research is getting a cut of what the requesters are paying cause they take the requesters hits and publish them for a nominal fee.
