    G'mornin' y'all! Got an email from VRAPI yesterday thanking me for my patience and for reaching out. I advanced to the second round, and have access to the second qual hit. Gonna work on it today, while there's not much else going on.

    I also just wanted to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart to the folks who reached out. Ya know, a qual like this isn't the end of the world, but when it's something you've been staring at for years, that's always available, and could potentially mean an end to inconsistent wages, it does impact on an emotional level to have total radio silence. That was helped significantly by the rando check-ins and the considerate words..

    Working independently like this, it gets hard to keep going sometimes in the face of adversity.. The commiseration found here eases that in a really unexpected, wonderful way.
