I give Bearnie a bite of cheese once in awhile (usually to hide his pills) but otherwise dairy is seriously not good for kitties. I mean, I say this being terribly lactose intolerant and eating dairy anyway. But, I try not to subject Bearnie's delicate little body to that lol.

 

I like you, so I'm gonna black this out. Fake sugar is the devil. I accidentally had some Monday and hurled within 20 minutes, it was not fun.

 

@TurkedOut who is never on the forum anymore was drinking some last week, so when I saw them at the store I bought them. I couldn't place why I thought it was such a good idea until later.

 

They taste similar and I haven't ever had an issue of getting sick from diet.

If I ever actually make some craft soda with my dad's brew stuff like I was planning to I'll use real sugarcane instead of corn syrup though.

soda is the only fake sugar I drink and I very rarely drink soda just think reg soda except root beer is way too sweet so I actually usually just get regular root beer but I do like diet Dr. Pepper

 

Fake sugar seriously fucks up your insulin response though. For cereal. But you know that already, because you know how strongly I feel about that particular issue.

I like sugarcane soda, I admit that I go to Whole Foods to pick up some frou frou soda cane sugar for the times I do drink it >.>

 

Yeah I rarely drink soda these days anyways. I mostly just drink tea, water, and milk.

 

We need that stuff from Parks and Rec.

That stuff has something it in that coats the inside of your stomach so you can drink more without getting sick. Irish people are serious about their booze.

Yeah but it isn't going to kill you to drink a few if you already rarely drink it anyways. I'm bigger on the sugar cane vs corn syrup issue though as it is a huge difference.

I would be more worried about the people that put artificial sweeteners in their coffee or tea every morning.

 

I worry about the people who put anything in their coffee personally. Why mask the great bitter taste of coffee with sugar and shit?

I live on the border, so there is always a stack of Mexican Coke products somewhere at every grocery store. It's made with cane sugar, but honestly you couldn't tell the difference unless you had both at the same time.

 

Yeah if they have to do all that they may as well just drink tea instead.
