    I have thought about doing this myself. I have an old laptop that still boots up that I wouldn't care if Inquist were on it.


    Check Facebook Marketplace. People in my area are always trying to sell their laptops. You can also try pawn shops. If you find any out of your price range, tell them to keep an eye out for you on something that is within your range. They want to make a quick buck and they see hundreds of customers a week. There is something bound to show up eventually.
