Just fyi, Skittles, when you post YouTube videos from playlists that are not public (talking about playlists not being public, not videos themselves), we can't see them, it just shows up as



but you yourself can see them just fine because your YouTube account has access to those playlists. If you open an incognito window and visit this thread, you'll see what I'm talking about.

But it's easily fixable, just don't include the playlist id in the MEDIA tag here on the forum. So instead of

[MEDIA=youtube]id=00rezIznLO8;list=PLDvRYMQW8rSE[/MEDIA]

just do

[MEDIA=youtube]id=00rezIznLO8[/MEDIA]

Or, alternatively, when copy/pasting the YouTube link, don't include the "&list=xxxxxxxx" part of the link.

 

guh, chrome updated again, and now the last fix to keep MTS stopped working. anyone @AlexZ know a new trick?

This is what had been working until yesterday.

--disable-features=ExtensionManifestV2Unsupported,ExtensionManifestV2Disabled

 

Not sure if anything can be done in Chrome at this point, but fwiw, MTS still works in Edge (without any tricks too).

I actually at one point committed to rewriting MTS to keep it working in Chrome, and even got it coordinated with Kada who graciously gave me access to his private GitHub repo, but then I saw it's in friggin' Redux and noped right the fuck out. :ap: But since it's finally getting killed in Chromium browsers, I might actually do it. Gonna take another look at it next week.
